It’s February, the month of love ❤️ Love has always been my favourite theme so this time it was easy to pick a topic. In this class I am teaching to create two Valentine’s Day special paintings with coffee and watercolour mediums.The 2 paintings are
1. Valentine Swan coffee painting
2. Love birds watercolour painting
We often come across both these images every Valentine’s Days. This year I created my version of these.
This painting is the perfect gift for impressing your partner, friends or family with your creativity. After all Valentine’s Day is not just for lovers!
So let’s celebrate love by creating these lovely paintings.
This class can be done by all levels. While already knowing watercolor techniques is an advantage, don’t worry if you are an absolute beginner. I will explain all the methods and materials you require for the watercolors.

The swan painting will be done in coffee. You will need
Instant coffee powder - I have taken Nescafé powder
Watercolor 300gsm thick paper - Canson Xl
Watercolor round brushes sizes- 2, 4, 8 Daler Rowney brushes
warm water
Gold or bronze metallic paintMetallic paint
pencil , eraser, masking tape, tissue
Love birds will be done in watercolors
Watercolors- Any brand would be fine. We need only crimson red, white and black.
Watercolor paper- 300gsm
watercolor round brushes- size 2, 8 and 10
Tissue, masking tape, pencil , eraser, water container
