Perhaps the most popular theory of all of physics.

Very small particles behave in strange ways. The microcosm is a highly interesting and concurrently very unintuitive place. That's one of the most obvious findings in quantum mechanical theory. And as much as it astonishes us, it will often leave us quite confused.

That's when this course comes into play. My aim with it is to facilitate a figurative and extensive understanding of what quantum mechanics really is. This course throws a bridge between an all-to-theoretical university course and a set of oversimplified explanatory videos.

And how? The motto with this course is to focus on understanding instead of plunging right into great mathematical detail. We will learn all typical model systems, theories and peculiarities of quantum mechanics with as few maths as possible and as much as needed. It will decisively help you to gain a bigger picture of all of quantum mechanics.

In 5.5 hours of video lectures all topics of a typical introductory course at university will be covered.

With a lot of graphic arts, comparisons and flashbacks to really get a sense of what's going on in the quantum world.
