Like any other industry construction industry has its own mechanism of payment. Payments are a lifeline for the success of any project. The core responsibility of the quantity surveyor is to initiate the payments by following the procedure.

The name of the course Quantity Surveying: Construction Payments is an effort to provide project-based training that will help students to build their knowledge and confidence.

So what did we learn in this course? First, I divided this course into four sections that comprise 18 HD lectures along with specified resources. These sections will deal with introducing the course, basic training on payments and extensive focus given on the various aspects of the project. Furthermore, it deals with the Understanding of Interim Payment Application/certification with project-based examples and payments under FIDIC Contracts. The last section is designed to give students an understanding of Final accounts and the Final payment procedures.
