Python 可以有效率地處理資料問題，像是資料的讀取、清理、運算、轉換與呈現，亦建立機器學習的模型等。本門課是資料科學系列的第一門課，主要介紹程式設計的基礎。本課程除了由淺入深的講解 Python 的語法與應用、基礎的程式語言概念，以及應用 Python 套件進行開放性資料的處理。任何對電腦操作有基礎，或對程式設計、資料處理有興趣的學生或社會人士，皆適合選修本課程。期望修課完畢後，您能夠了解基礎的程式語言概念，並能應用 Python 的語法，以及應用 Python 套件進行開放性資料的處理。

Python can efficiently handle data problems, such as reading, cleaning, computing, transforming and presenting data, and building machine learning models. This course is the first course of the data science series, mainly introducing the basics of programming. In addition to explaining the grammar and application of Python, basic programming language concepts, and using the Python package for open data processing. Students or members of the public who have a foundation in computer operations or are interested in programming and data processing are suitable for this course. It is expected that after the course, you will be able to understand the basic programming language concepts and be able to apply Python syntax, as well as the use of Python packages for open data processing.
