This is a 90-question practice test simulating the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam by the PTCB. The national pass rate for the PTCE is 58% according to the PTCB. The OFFICIAL PTCB Exam is a 90-question test (80 scored questions and 10 unscored questions). Unscored questions are randomly placed throughout the exam and not identified. The PTCE is a 2 hour exam (5 minute tutorial, 1 hour and 50 minute exam and 5 minute post-exam survey). The test is scored between 1000 and 1600 and the passing scaled score is 1400. The cost to apply for CPhT Certification and take the PTCE is $129.

Once you earn your PTCB CPhT credential, you can advance in your career in the healthcare industry or other specialty pharmacy settings. You also get the title, CPhT, denoting nationally- Certified Pharmacy Technician after passing and official certification is issued.
