Process Plant Layout & Piping Design covers the terminology and concepts needed for equipment layout within the process plant and the building of a complete chemical process. In this course you will learn the importance of equipment placement, spacing and orientation as applied in chemical engineering and Oil & Gas industries. You will also get practical skills in P&ID generation, plant layout & pipe routing using a 3D software.

Besides the needed theoretical knowledge about Process Plant Layout, you will have a unique chance to learn the practical use of AutoCAD Plant 3D software as a 3D modeling tool for Process Plant Layout design. You will be able to develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Plot layouts and 3D models with proper project documentation. At the end of this course you should be able to;

If you are new to process plant layout and piping design discipline in Oil & Gas Industry or Chemical Processing Industry don’t worry anymore we have you covered in this course, I will first introduces you to the fundamentals of Process Plant Layout, Procedures & Workflow methods, Principles of a Good Plant Layout Design and Skills & Qualities you need for becoming a Good Plant Layout Designer followed by a series of step-by-step practical demonstrations in using Autocad Plant 3D and Cinema 4D (3D Modeling,3D animation &3D Rendering Software).

This course mainly focuses on the most significant elements of Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Petroleum refining, Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering that should be known by experts in the Oil& Gas Industry including Chemical and Process Engineers and those who are interested in this field. Never mind if you have no experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D or Cinema 4D softwares, you will be equally capable of understanding everything and you will finish the course with total mastery of the subject.

NB: You are strongly encouraged to follow through the demonstrations and repeat the practicals on their own computers.
