A short self-introduction: I'm a non-professional voice-actress who draws, voices and uploads Anime Storyboards (like animation) to Facebook. Ilike to work on an ongoing project called Saint Kim:Teen Punk Gone Saint. Ipick up languages pretty easily and Ienjoy teaching people about this type of subject. In this course I will be talking about generalized places to make sound in the nose, mouth and throat, and usevarious languages as examples including Japanese, Korean, French and Russian. Imention a couple other languages, too. Japanese which came from Chinese, uses three sets of alphabets, Katakana for loan words like English and Chinese, Hiragana for Japanese words and softening words in written form, and Kanji which are shared with the Chinese. Iwill discuss Hiragana. Korean also uses two alphabet systems, the newer system, which was designed to be simple, and Hanja, which was taken from Chinese, again. French uses just one alphabet, and it is a well known language, being taught just about everywhere in the world, ffrom Africa to Saudi Arabia and France to the United States. Russian seems to me to be in the middle of being Asian and European, which a Latin type alphabet but also someone Asian looking syllables, like Jeu and Sheu.
