We want you to feel EMPOWERED and to learn real strategies to stay safe by the end of our Personal Safety & Security Course that includes Hijacking Avoidance & Survival Tips.

In our Personal Safety & Security course we will look at specific risks and threats that we are faced with in the South African context, situational awareness, principles of survival and those principles in action.

This course is recommended for tourists visiting to South Africa.

While there are an innumerable amount of threats that we face on a daily basis, it is imperative to establish an understanding of some of the more relevant ones within our own context. The following list is not exhaustive but establishes some of the main risks we need to be aware of:

• Hijackings

• Home invasion

• Smash & Grab

• Riots, looting, shootouts in malls

• Cash in transit heists

• Gender based violence

• Sexual offences

• Kidnapping & Abduction & Child stealing

While these cover the most well-known risks, we know there are many more to be aware of. Our current training specifically assists you in personal safety and security so that you are ready to deal with any risks associated with the self and your surroundings.
