You will learn about the echelon and normal form of a matrix and how to convert a matrix to these forms. We then introduce the Gauss Elimination method to solve a system of equations. This is followed by the Gauss Jordan method to solve equations in the matrix form. You will then be introduced to diagonally dominant matrices and learn how the Gauss Seidel method is used to solve such equations. Next, you will learn about non singular matrices and how to calculate inverse of a matrix using adjoint method. This is used in high school maths as well.

The session concludes with an assignment covering all the topics. There is also a complete set of all the formulae learnt in the course which is provided to you at the end.
