Hey! I am Hamed, your teacher for the GRE vocab course! I am a researcher in neuroscience. So, as an English-as-the-second-language speaker, I have been learning the advanced-level English vocabulary, because they have enabled me to better understand the academic texts, and to write science in a more elegant way. For a while I have also been preparing for the GRE exam.

Probably you know that on the exam day you shall expect literally any English word to appear on the questions. That is kind of terrifying, right? However, here is the catch. Looking over the past exams, shows that there is a limited number of words that have been kept repeating on and on, and it includes only around 300 words. So it makes a lot of sense to master this defined list of words! Although I strongly encourage you to read high-level English articles widely, and wildly, for example from sources like The Economist, and The New York Times, it is just an economical use of your time to start from this list, and practice it enough.
