One of the big advantages of being able to use Macros and VBA is that excel is a program that basically everybody from the tech-savvy younger new-joiners to not-so-tech-savvy seniors in the company. You may be able to write a fancy Python script to automate tasks that work perfectly, but other people may not even know how to run it as they have no knowledge whatsoever of programming. However, if it’s written in VBA attached to an excel spreadsheet, basically anybody from top to bottom would be able to use it with way more convenience.
This course is split into three chapters. In the first chapter, we will briefly touch on the Fundamentals of Macro and VBA. In the second chapter, we will build our toolbox, which covers the basics of coding in VBA from loops to conditional statements. Then lastly, we will work on a final project using the toolbox that we built in the previous chapter.
