This course contains the source code of the E-commerce Admin Chatbot used to manage the Product Catalog/Database. We will walk you through setting up this bot and explain the core functionalities this bot has.

The bot is built on Bot Framework v4 and .NET Core 3.1. It uses Azure Cosmos DB as a Database to manage the products. We have used Azure Cosmos DB Emulator to test it locally.

For starting, you just have to enter the configuration details and the chatbot is ready. To test this bot locally, we have used Bot Framework Emulator.

This bot can be customized for any requirement and use case where CRUD operations are used. We have demonstrated the Create, Update, Read and Remove functionalities.

For Authentication, we are using Power Automate to send an OTP to the Admin. Admin has to enter the OTP in the chatbot to authenticate and use the services of the bot.

This bot also has the validations for wrong data type inputs entered. This validates duplicate product IDs and product names. This also validates the data type of the price.
