In this course we'll be starting off things by looking at how to create an account on Mailchimp and do the basic initial set up.

After that we'll be looking at how to import contacts from another source (in case you have such a source).

Then we'll be creating a sample marketing funnel with a landing page and a thank you page to see how the whole process will work if we were to use Mailchimp to deliver a lead magnet via email.

We'll be carrying out this process by first creating a sign up form (opt-in form) and then placing this form on the landing page that we created in the last step.

After that we'll also make sure that once a user fills up this form, he or she is redirected to the thank you page.

Of course the most important part here will be creating the welcome email that inside Mailchimp that will automatically go to the user's inbox when he or she signs up. This email will have the link to download our sample lead magnet.

Post that we'll also be looking at how to create a broadcast email in Mailchimp so we can send an important announcement to all our subscribers or a particular segment of our subscribers.

In between all this we'll be looking at some important miscellaneous settings too.

Once we know how to do everything, we'll also be looking at the pros and cons of using Mailchimp.
