This course cover the LTE drop call optimization on Huawei Equipment eRan16, explaining the connection drop in LTE, counters and KPIs, related parameters and low performance troubleshooting.
The course is designed to provide a detailed knowledge of LTE drop call scenarios, counters, parameters and their impact on LTE network performance.
This course is addressed to technical staff who is responsible of LTE network optimization.

Introduction to LTE Drop Call and retain-ability and the definitions in 3GPP. Normal and abnormal release procedures with the associated counters and sub-counters. Drop Call KPIs seen from the UE, eNodeB and MME sides.
Explain the RRC re-establishment procedure till R15, triggering criteria, parameters and counters.
Explain different cases of a drop call initiated by a UE, procedures, associated parameters and counters.
Explain the drop call initiated by eNodeB and MME, different cases of a Radio link failure. Algorithm and features to detection a radio link failure by eNodeB.
