Hello and welcome to LOADSTAR INTRODUCTION course. When I was Junior Officer I was looking for such loading software lessons where could be possible to familiarize myself with program, cargo handling and alarm fixing methods. I not succeeded to find it. I joined the vessel as Chief Officer and start learning Loadstar together with the other important for Chief Mate position things. Of course it was accompanied by a lot of stress and mistakes. As you know mistakes are cost a lot in our job.

I will teach you how to: import and export files to/from our condition, reduce lashing forces, reduce bending and torsion moments, handle IMDG errors, adjust tanks (ballast, fuel oil, diesel oil, fresh water), improve bridge visibility, calculate deadload. All this knowledge I got not in the one contract. Loadstar videos containing in this course is a summary of all my experience, years of practice, dealing with the planers, my defeats and victories during never ending fight. Chief Mate job will challenge you every day onboard. My course will help you to be prepared.
