Navisworks is a 3D design review package for Microsoft Windows. Used primarily in construction industries to complement 3D design packages, Navisworks allows users to open and combine 3D models; navigate around them in real-time; and review the model using a set of tools including comments, redlining, viewpoint, and measurements. A selection of plug-ins enhances the package adding interference detection, 4D time simulation, photorealistic rendering and PDF-like publishing.
One will learn about Navi works and be able to operate any Navis software on a day to day basis as a reviewer or a manager of the project, you will have enough skills to do quality check of the model prepared by your team / juniors in other softwares like Revit etc without needing to know in detail about those softwares. One will have knowledge about almost all aspects of the Navis tools commands after studying this course.
You can also extract sufficient information to pass on an executive summary to your management, brief them on progress by navigating the model in a meeting environment, basically learn Navis to the extent a project lead / manager needs to know , and a little more.
