DescriptionThis course is designed to help students who have little or no experience with computer coding successfully learn the languages of HTML and CSS quickly. The most prevalent elements of HTML and CSS are presented to students in video lectures. Upon completion of this course students will be able to create personal websites and take their first step towards web development. The course can be completed in 30 minutes enabling students to target what they are learning by watching comprehensive lesson videos that are only a few minutes long. The first portion of the class focuses on coding in HTML. The second portion of the class helps students learn CSS. And the final part of the course instructs students how to use Adobe Dreamweaver. When using Adobe Dreamweaver students will create a class project using everything they have learned in HTML and CSS. By creating this online website students can apply everything they have learned to real life application. This course should be the first stop of all coding students entering the field. The purpose of this course is to help students gain exposure and confidence in coding. Students are encouraged to ask questions and to reach out if they require further instruction.
