Hi I’m Brent Dalley and I have produced this course just for you. What makes you unique, is entirely up to you and how you wish to define yourself. In this course you will zero in on who you are and also how you might change those things that don’t define who you really are. See, if you can harness your thoughts then, “whatever you can dream you can accomplish”, to quote Walt Disney
You see, Unfortunately, most of what creates unhappiness and insecurity in our world today is the result of how we allow others to perceive us and what we are willing to accept as others’ opinions of ourselves. When you learn to accept that it is your own definition of identity and what you value and believe that defines you, you can learn to be comfortable with the unique aspects yourself.
When you are able to accept and value what you believe to be important in life, versus what others’ or social norms say are important, you can develop an inner peace and inspiration that provides you with self-confidence. But, the first step to knowing this important information is understanding yourself, or how you think about yourself
If you want to harness the power of your thoughts you first need to discover the many interesting and unique aspects of who you are, you have to be willing to be completely honest with yourself. That includes acknowledging and understanding the positive and negative aspects of your personality.
If you are not honest with yourself, you’ll never really know the deepest recesses of your personality that are a part of you, nor will you ever be able to make changes that can help you achieve everything you want in life.
What makes you special are your thoughts, desires, dreams, and experiences in life, among many other aspects. Because most of those are internal processes that only you experience and know, this part of you is not about what others see or perceive you to be.
Being honest with yourself is the only way, then to get to know and truly uncover these parts of yourself.
Being honest with yourself about all parts of who you are can be difficult for some. This process of self-examination can force you to examine and accept some hard truths about yourself.
Digging deeply into your beliefs, ambitions, values, and relationships can reveal some aspects of your personality about which you are not particularly proud. But regardless, knowing is better than not knowing. Honesty works.
Who you are is constantly evolving and changing. Learning about yourself should be a life-long process, as each part of your life continues to influence those aspects of yourself that make you unique each day.
Who you are is a combination of many different things, from long-held beliefs to hardships and life experiences. Knowing that who you are will and should change over time is crucial for not only accepting yourself but also valuing how you are today as well as tomorrow.
Instead of thinking that you are simply one thing, or that one part of yourself is what defines you, it is essential to understand that what makes you special and unique is actually a combination of many different things.
You are not just what you look like or how you behave. You are a multi-dimensional creature that is constantly evolving, and who you are is represented by thousands, maybe even millions of tiny and significant differences that make you exactly who you need to be.
