The world is a dangerous place. We are blessed that law enforcement and security personnel are willing to risk their lives for our safety. Unfortunately, we live in a society where the public eye is always critical of their actions and are quick to vilify them if it is perceived that excessive force was used. The result is that law enforcement officers and security personnel have been forced to deal with situations that they may not have specialized training in.

This course is designed to teach law enforcement and security personnel how to effectively disarm an armed assailant while using the minimum force necessary. This is accomplished by using Jujutsu, or soft techniques. Our goal in doing this is to provide techniques that give options to law enforcement in the hope that they will have the ability to echelon their response to the situation. We fully support our law enforcement officers.

The premise of Jujutsu, or locking techniques, is to gain control of an assailant’s attacking arm and restrict their movement. This can be done by locking or twisting a joint. If performed correctly, these techniques can cause immense pain and compliance without causing long term injury to the assailant.
