Human eyes identify colors in a relative sense. This class will establish the color relationships. We will define "color contrast" in the color space, then describe color variation due to "color relativity". We will demonstrate color relativity effect can dramatically change our color perception. I have investigated the rules of color relativity effect and will present what have discovered in this class. Understanding these rules will help artists to visualize colors correctly in any multi-color situations. This study lays the theoretical foundation for painters color practices.
